Director

Mrs Alamelu was the principal of P.S Senior Secondary School, Mylapore for 21 years. She is the Correspondent and Secretary/Director of Bharathi Vidyalaya Sr. Sec. School. She has more than 60 years of experience in Administration and Education. She was a Member of the Governing Body of CBSE from June 1989 to June 1992.She won the National Award for Best Teacher in 1991.

Mr. Mahalingam served Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for 42 years. He is a pioneer in the Information Technology Industry and was instrumental in the growth of OMR as the preferred destination for IT companies. He retired as the Chief Financial Officer of TCS and was also a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Mahalingam was chosen as the best 'CFO' in various years by Business Today, International Market Assessment (IMA), CNBC TV18, CFO Innovation, Finance Asia and Institutional Investors. He continues to be active in business circles as a Board Member.

L Ganesh is Chairman of Rane Holdings Limited, the holding company of Rane Group, one of the acknowledged leaders in the auto component industry. (www.ranegroup.com) He is a Chartered Accountant and also holds an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University, USA. Beginning his career as a Management Trainee in Rane Engine Valves Limited (REVL) in 1978 he progressively handled various responsibilities and became its Vice Chairman and Managing Director in 1990, Vice Chairman of the Group in 1994 and Chairman in 2006 of Rane Group. He retired as Chairman from the operating entities of Rane Group in March 2024. He serves as a Non Executive Director on these entities and continues as Chairman of Rane Holdings Limited. At the national level, he has been an articulate spokesman for the automotive industry through his involvement with various bodies. He was President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and also President of the Madras Management Association. He was Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region. He served as Honorary Consul for New Zealand in South India from 1996 to 2025. He was conferred with the prestigious Deming Award and recognized for his outstanding contribution in dissemination and promotion (Overseas) of Total Quality Management in 2022.

Krishnan holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Master's degree in Management (Finance) from the University of Mumbai. He is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Treasury Manager.

Our Curriculum

The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan syllabus is followed up to Class VIII, and the CBSE syllabus is followed for Classes IX to XII.

The school offers Higher Hindi, Higher Sanskrit, and Higher Tamil as second language options. Students who choose Tamil or Sanskrit study Hindi as the third language up to Class VIII.

Art Education is an important part of the curriculum. Students can choose from Dance, Mridangam, Music, Drawing and Painting, and Theatre, taught by qualified professional teachers.

Yoga and meditation are included in the curriculum to help students relax, stay mentally fit, and improve concentration.
